Larry Efaw

Stanley Efaw learned to play the mandolin when he was 7 years old, while recovering from a hip replacement. His dad Larry taught him to play while he laid on the flat of his back in a body cast.

By the age of 8, Stanley was playing the mandolin with The Bluegrass Mountaineers.

Over the years, He has expanded his musical talents to the fiddle, dobro, banjo, upright bass, and guitar. He sings Lead and Harmony Vocals. He has amazed all of those who have watched him over the years. Stanley has performed with some of bluegrass finest including touring with Ralph Stanley II and several other bands.
