I am a born and raised East Tennessee native, but now call Akron, Ohio my home.

People ask how long have I been playing, the best I can recall is I learned to walk, talk and farm the first 7 years of my life, then I started picking soon after and I haven’t learned much else since.

I’m blessed beyond measure to have spent a couple years of my life playing full time on the road for a few years.
I played with Tim Graves and Cherokee for 2 years.
I also played with David Parmley & Continental Divide for 2 years.

I have been playing with The Bluegrass Mountaineers for 8 years.

I have been married to Larry's daughter Becky for 8 years and we have 3 kids.
