| Edward Efaw |
Stanley Efaw was
born on September 11, in Akron, Ohio. He has had numerous medical
problems. At the young age of 7, Stanley had a total hip
replacement. He was in a body cast from the waist down for several
months. While laying on the flat of his back, in a hospital bed,
Stanley wanted to learn to pick an instrument. With the assistance
from his dad, Larry, Stanley quickly learned songs on the mandolin.
By the age of 8, Stanley was playing the mandolin with the Bluegrass
Mountaineers. Over the year he has expanded his musical talents to
fiddle, dobro, banjo, bass and guitar. He sings lead and tenor.
